As part of the University’s on-going commitment to equality and diversity, the University Executive Group approved the decision to make the Equality and Diversity online module mandatory for all staff .
The module has recently been reviewed and updated following feedback from across the University to make it shorter, more engaging and more accessible. It also includes updates on relevant legislation.
All new staff will need to complete the module as part of your local induction. As the module has been updated and refreshed it is recommended that all staff do a refresher on the training to update your knowledge and understanding about your role and responsibilities in addressing diversity-related matters.
For this purpose please find below a link to the online module. Simply click the link and you will be re-directed to commence the development. From the homepage you will be required to enter the following information:
Username: enter your work email address
Password: enter the word ‘password1’
You can then complete the module in one go or do a section and come back to it another time. You must, though, pass the final module quiz.

The module will take up to 45 minutes to complete and you will receive support from your line manager to do this.
