Professor Ian Rotherham, who is an expert on a range of environmental issues, including urban wildlife, extreme weather, flooding and climate change, has published a book on plant species that are invading Britain.
His research includes the recent spread of Himalayan balsam in Britain, which proliferates at a huge rate. The Independent on Sunday covered the subject in a double-page feature.
