Sheffield Hallam has been ranked 14 out of 143 universities in the People and Planet Green League, which looks at environmental and ethical performance and improvement across all areas of the business.
The University gained outstanding scores in environmental management, which is directly linked to our double ISO accreditation for Environmental and Energy Management. We also performed well in the areas of staff and student engagement, waste management and water reduction.
This measure is particularly pertinent as People and Planet is a student-led organisation and we have moved up the league from 27th to 14th since 2011.
