Annual Review

Annual Review, monitoring and evaluation and the continuous enhancement of all the University’s award-bearing provision is an essential activity to assure the quality of the student experience and to maintain standards. Annual Review is undertaken by academic staff with responsibility for the design, delivery and enhancement of courses and modules and also operates at faculty and institutional level. Annual Review applies to all courses where current students are still enrolled on a course, whether the course is actively recruiting or is subject to phasing out arrangements. Annual Review also applies to all the University’s award-bearing courses that are delivered in collaboration with an approved partner organisation.

Review, evaluation and the continuous enhancement of all the University’s award-bearing provision is an essential activity to assure the quality of the student experience and to maintain standards. Annual Review allows course leaders to review the performance of their course against key performance indicators and enables heads of departments to compare the effectiveness of courses within their area.
