International Restart a Heart Day (16th Oct)

Did you know that the 16th October is International Restart a Heart Day? Did you know that on this day in 2018 an amazing 238,793 people were trained to deliver potentially lifesaving CPR nationally as part of this initiative?

In collaboration with the British Heart Foundation, Helen Bywater and David Hall are supporting a small number of students from within the faculty to organise and deliver CPR training for staff and students on this day. The students would like to have at least one stand at both campuses and rooms available to deliver training. We would kindly request the support of academics to be available to assist our students.

If you feel you could spare just an hour or two for this very worthy cause, please complete the below doodle poll. Please use the “contact the poll creator” function to indicate which campus you would prefer.
