HWB Research and Innovation Award – Dragons’ Den

Now in its third year, the successful HWB Research and Innovation Award is back.

The HWB Research and Innovation Award is a week-long programme that is attended by selected final-year undergraduate and pre-registration students studying courses across biosciences and chemistry, sport and physical activity, or across the health and social care professions. During the week they work in groups to develop innovations to address real problems. On the final day, the groups present their innovative pitches to our team of challenging Dragons.

This event is a showcase of how innovative our students can be, whilst also providing them with an opportunity to display how much they’ve learnt alongside the skills they’ve developed to enable them to be the innovators of the future.

You are invited to hear the course participants pitch their innovations in the Dragons’ Den. Come along and be amazed!

You can also follow their development over the weeklong course on Twitter #RAICourse

The week will also provide an opportunity to listen to Dr Taz Aldawoud, the inspirational event keynote speaker, showcase his journey of innovation.
