Today marks the start of Graduation 2018 for the Faculty. Thank you to all the staff that will be involved over the next three days to make these events special. Graduation is the culmination of all the hard work of our students, staff and partners, giving us the opportunity to celebrate the outstanding work of our Faculty and University.
There are six ceremonies, starting today and the final one being on Friday at 2.30pm.
Whether you are involved as a member of the platform party, public orator, as a chief academic/academic/general steward your contribution helps make these days a celebration to remember.
It is also a chance to celebrate our Inspirational Teachers, Inspirational Researchers and Outstanding Student Support award winners. New for this year, we will have the announcement for the National Teaching Fellows Award.
We have three prize-giving ceremonies that run in between the graduation ceremonies. Held at Hallam Hall, we invite student prize winners to attend with their families to receive the awards that have been nominated by departments.
Each year a select number staff are invited by the department to attend as a chance to network with our Sponsors and create connections with our alumni.
Good luck to all involved and wishing all our students every success in the years to come.
Don’t forget to celebrate the achievements of our students on social media by using #WeAreHallam on Twitter and Instagram.
