The world is reliant on digital technology. The digital devices, tools and services that we use are integral to communication, collaboration and organisation in our personal and professional lives. As individuals we engage in ways that are necessary for our role at Sheffield Hallam, adopting new practices and developing our skills.
Throughout July, we’ll help you explore the role that digital plays in your work and teaching practice, with opportunities to ask questions, experience tools, develop strategies and learn practical techniques that will help you and, in turn, help our students. Read more
There’ll be a variety of ways to take part, including online resources and articles, hands-on workshops and drop-in surgeries. So, during July:

- … or better still, subscribe to it to receive updates in your inbox
- follow SHU Academic Development (@SHU_AcDev) on Twitter and the #SpotlightOnDigital hashtag for daily discussion and updates
- and sign-up to the face-to-face lunchtime workshops which cover areas such as digital collaboration, using digital resources and creating engaging video presentations
