The University’s development of the world’s fastest gravity powered sled is a ‘significant’ invention from the city.

The sled, built by Hallam’s Centre for Sports Engineering Research and used by  motorcycle racer Guy Martin to break the world speed record for gravity powered sleds, is featured in this iNews article which takes a look at how Sheffield continues to make a huge difference in medical and transport technology.
