We’ve had some fantastic winners of this award over the year, and to get you inspired we have some words from past winner Karabo Phalane from the Botswana Accountancy College on how he got involved with his course:

I became the organiser and go-to guy, students could tell me if they were having trouble and I could relay those messages across. It built my leadership skills and I had to be very organised, including setting up a Whatsapp group for students.

I like to lead by example, asking questions first to guest lecturers and going on placements, showing ‘if he can do it, then so can we’.

Nominating another student is easy, and is a case of filling out this simple form.

Winners of the award will receive an award certificate and will be announced during their Graduation ceremony.
