Our team is aware that the boiler in Mercury House (38 Collegiate Crescent) is not in working order. Our team is working to replace the boiler and restore normal service as soon as possible. Please be aware this will likely take up to two weeks; in the meantime, if you would like to request temporary heating please call FD Helpdesk on x 4444. We will keep you informed and updated with any changes to the expected remediation timescale.
Start of the Heating Season
At this time of year, the weather can be variable from day to day. As we re-energise the heating systems across the campus’ comfort issues may be experienced by building users. Our Plumbing and Heating team are working hard to identify and rectify any issues during this period. Although we have remote monitoring of the conditions in the majority of our buildings, you the building user are our eyes and ears across the Estate. Therefore should you have any issue with thermal comfort, please do contact the FD Helpdesk on x 4444 or by email! FD Customer Services.
