Sheffield Hallam University recently purchased a long lease on Arundel House the building which sits on the roundabout at the corner of Arundel Gate and Furnival Street. The University has now put in a planning application to refurbish the building. This will involve, work to improve the exterior, such as updating the cladding, entrance and windows, as well as a thorough interior refurbishment. The building will be used as office accommodation for University staff and is expected be ready for use from the end of 2014 onwards.
