This month a project to automatically monitor electricity, gas, water and heat in each University building in real time is taking place to help towards reducing our usage and overall carbon footprint.

New monitors are being installed across both campuses.  To install these new meters shutdowns of services will be required – this will typically take upwards of 4 hours and all shutdown works will be completed out of hours.

We have worked very closely with key stakeholders and our contractors to create a schedule of work which is available to view from this page.

Please Note:

The shutdowns on the 26th and the 27th will be done during normal hours rather than overnight as the University is closed.  The Harmer electricity shutdown has been scheduled to coincide with the shutdown required for the MERI project.

If you have any queries about this project please send us your comments.
