The Sheffield Grand Prix city centre cycle race is taking place this evening (Wednesday 18th). This means some road closures throughout the day (including parts of Arundel Gate) and the circuit being fully closed this evening.
The route goes from Pinstone Street by the Peace Gardens around to Furnival Square roundabout and left on to Arundel Gate, then around the back of the Crucible and back on to Pinstone Street.

18:30 – Live commentry starts.
19:00 – Regional 3/4 Support Race Start – Pinstone Street (50 minutes)
19:50 – Support Race Finish
20:00 – Support RacePresentations
20:00 – Circuit open for Elite warm up
20:15 – Mens Elite Circuit Race Start – Pinstone Street (50 minutes plus 5 laps)
21:15 – Men’s Elite Race Finish
21:25 – Men’s podium presentations
22:30 – Roads Re-open
