KTP/EMI ASSOCIATES DAY – Wednesday 9th May 2.30 – 5.40pm Stoddart Building 7140
Sheffield Hallam has an excellent record in the delivery of Knowledge Transfer Partnerships with innovative companies regionally and nationally. This is a chance for you to find out more about KTP and SHU’s Enhanced Mentored Intern projects. Selected KTP and EMI Associates from a range of disciplines will be giving a 10 minute presentation on their projects including the technical issues and challenges they have faced, as well as those they still need to overcome. This will be followed by a chance for questions and discussion; a real opportunity for them to learn from you – our research experts.
Projects include prototype design of an innovative fingerprint recovery system for use in forensic investigation and the development of heated panels using conductive polymer technology to heat space within electric vehicles. This is an excellent chance to find out how KTPs impact on companies and the University’s research.
Our first year KTPs will be displaying posters as part of the event.
To help with the provision of refreshments, if you are able to attend please could you let the team know at business@shu.ac.uk.
