Call handling upgrade affecting some University services Tuesday 24th – Wednesday 25th April

Please see the info below from DTS regarding an upcoming update to the University’s call handling system which will affect the availability of some services on those dates.

UniDesk upgrade work affecting services on Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 April

The University’s call handling system (UniDesk) which logs calls for some University services will be unavailable from 8am until 5pm on Tuesday 24 April and at risk until noon on Wednesday 25 April because of an upgrade. This will cause a delay in responding to emails sent to these services.

Affected services include:

  • AUKR Admissions – x6175
  • Converis Support Team – x2758
  • Finance Systems (E5 / expenses etc) – x4977
  • IT Help – x3333
  • Library Services – x3333
  • Registry Services – Student Immigration Compliance x4475
  • SITS Help – x4475
  • SHU OnlineStore – x2478
