The full announcement about the day from Sheffield BID is below.
On 2 March, Sheffield Business Improvement District (BID) will launch the BID Spring Clean, a six – week long campaign to tackle graffiti and mess in Sheffield city centre. To help launch the campaign, we would like as many people as possible to join us in a mass clean-up of Sheffield!
We will be meeting at the Peace Gardens at 10am on Friday 2 March, where guest rangers will be given their BID Spring Clean kit and assigned an area to clean with one of the BID’s Street Rangers. We will be inviting members of the local press to a photo call, so it would be fantastic to get as many people there at 10am as possible.
Following the photo call, we will be sending guest rangers out into the city centre with a designated Street Ranger. We will be cleaning for a few hours, and it would be fantastic if you could volunteer at least half an hour. If you are unable to come at 10am, but can dedicate some time later in the day, please let me know.”
