International Women’s Day
Thursday 8 March marks International Women’s Day, a global celebration of respect, appreciation and recognition. The focus for this year’s IWD is #PressForProgress.
Across the world women are making positive gains day-by-day. However now, more than ever, there’s a strong call-to-action to press forward and progress gender parity. 2018 also marks 100 years since women were first given the vote in the UK.
For the fourth year in a row we will be holding a joint event in participation with the University of Sheffield on Thursday 8 March.
This will feature a panel event, discussion, networking lunch followed by workshops, based on this year’s theme of #PressForProgress.
Book your place here.
We hope you can join us for the whole day (11:00-15:30), but appreciate this is not always possible so have provided the option for you to attend either the panel (am) or workshop (pm) should you not be able to attend both.
If you would like to attend both the panel and a workshop of your choice, please select 2 tickets from the list. If you would like to attend either the panel or a workshop, select 1 ticket only. Please only select tickets allocated for staff at Sheffield Hallam University.
Places are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
