Max Fischer, the founder of Michelin Star restaurant Fischer’s at Baslow Hall, is returning to Sheffield Hallam University to host a pop-up restaurant following a successful maiden event last year.
Max, whose restaurant has held a Michelin Star since 1994, will again host ‘A Taste of Fischer’s’ at the University’s Hallam View restaurant.
The event will be staffed in the kitchen and front of house by Sheffield Hallam students studying hospitality business management.
The menu will showcase a selection of Max’s classic dishes cooked by the students under the award-winning chef’s watchful eye throughout the four-night spell from Tuesday 20 to Friday 23 February.
The event is a collaboration between Sheffield Business School, Catering Services and Max Fischer who has been a long-time supporter of the University and received an honorary doctorate in 2013.
There will be a table d’hote three course menu with three choices per course priced at £40 per person.
Tables can be booked from 6.30pm to 8pm on each of the four nights by calling 0114 2253871 or by email h.dodd@shu.ac.uk.
