The fifth issue of the Learning from Student Disputes blog is now available. This blog is for all staff, and aims to provide staff with the support that they need to deal with issues regarding student appeals and complaints. With examples from within the University and across the HE sector, this blog will enable staff to learn from the experience of colleagues and to share good practice.
This issue covers:
- Information made available to the student when investigating an appeal or complaint
- Student complaints about staff
- Communication of regulation exemptions
And includes the following information for complaint investigators:
- Gesture of goodwill
- Updates to the staff guidance for student complaints
- Training: Complaint Investigator Training
The next issue will be in February 2018, and will be advertised here in Eview.
