Have some great ideas and enthusiasm for staff engagement? The Employee and Change Communications team leads our internal communications function, equipping our 4,500 staff with timely information and generating dialogue which encourages staff at all levels to stay, say, and strive in support of the aims set out in the University Strategy. It also supports the development and leads the delivery of change communications to aid understanding of major changes to the University’s staffing, structures or processes, and encourage dialogue and comprehension to ensure their successful implementation.

We’re looking for an organised Communications Officer to join the team who can help us drive forward a more structured, professional and consistent approach to internal communications, in order to drive advocacy and engagement among our staff community. You’ll have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders across the University requiring the ability to build effective relationships. Delivering timely communications to support the vision of the University Strategy you will have experience of planning, creating and publishing content which is engaging and relevant to the audience.
