Due to the popular demand, the ESCM Programme is able to offer additional demonstration sessions of the new Student View.
The Student View is a new self-service facility which will allow university staff to access the individual student profile of all students (at all levels, including research) in a user-friendly and structured way. Accessible to all university staff, it will provide the most up to date student, course and module information held within the University’s SITS system from the 2006/07 academic year onwards..
For all staff who interact and engage with the student experience, the information will be of great benefit, particularly for those staff who support students in one-to-one personal support sessions or for checking the student’s status, assisting with the writing of references or personal statements or developing alumni relations etc.
A great advantage of the Student View is that it complements and works alongside the Curriculum View and will allow you to link directly through to the relevant course and module information relating to that student.
Further information and screencasts of the Student View and the Curriculum View can be found here.
Come along to one of our demonstrations to see how the Student View works.
