Over the summer we launched a new process to replace the SHU21 forms. From 1 August 2017 the current SHU21 absence process ceased, and has been replaced with new functions in the CorePortal. You can find user guides and FAQ’s on our intranet pages.
If you are a Line Manager you will have received detailed information through the HR Brief about how to access the new functions in Manager Portal for recording sickness absences.
If you would like to see a demonstration of the new sickness absence screen, or have any questions about it, we are holding drop-in sessions in October.
Colleagues from Finance and HR will be available at these sessions if you want to ask any questions about the other functions that are available in the Core Portal including expenses, recruitment, manager requests and timesheets.
