We know that students get an overwhelming number of printed and digital information and in Library & Student Support we want to make information as easy and accessible for them as possible.
To keep students at the heart of everything we do, we’re launching the Library & Student Support Services blog, bringing together news, updates and reminders about the range of services available to support wellbeing, managing money, academic study skills and more – all in one place. Students can book onto a variety of workshops and sessions, and there are quick links so that they can talk to us at any time. We’ll also be maintaining the dialogue that students value so they can tell us what they like or would like to change. At the same time, we don’t want to detract from essential learning information on shuspace, so we’ll be signposting to existing resources there rather than replicating them on another channel.
We also want to tell staff across the University about projects and key messages from all of the services in Library & Student Support – from Business Relationship Managers through to the Student Wellbeing Service, and you can keep up to date with news, projects and events here: L3S Staff Network.
One blog for students, and one blog for staff. Please promote these within your areas, and we’ll be working in the meantime to redirect students from our old links to the new one.
