The government has launched a survey to understand the experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT) people living in the UK.
This survey asks about:
- your experiences of accessing and using public services in the UK
- any experiences of discrimination you may have faced throughout your life
- You will be asked about your experiences at work, in education, in healthcare, and about your personal safety.
The survey takes around 15 minutes to answer, you can complete the survey in one go, or save your answers and come back to it later. The survey is anonymous and no one will be able to tell who you are at any point.
Take the survey here. The survey closes on 15 October.
After the survey closes, the government will analyse the results and use them to inform plans to improve LGBT equality. They will publish the findings on GOV.UK when this analysis is completed.
Both SIGNAL, our LGBT staff network, and our Equality & Diversity team fully endorse this and encourage as many LGBT colleagues to complete the survey as possible.
If you are affected by any of the issues mentioned in this survey, and want further support, the government has published information about places you can get help and support from.
