Job title: Information Officer
Salary: £18,412 to £21,220 dependent on experience
As an Information Officer you will work as a member of the Student Help team with specific responsibility for providing sector leading high quality, client-centred advice and information to customers through a range of approaches including a face-to-face and virtual provision. You will be based over three different help desks across both City and Collegiate campus on a rota basis.
Alongside the other Information Officers you will contribute to the continuous improvement of the service’s effectiveness in meeting the needs of its clients, and in delivering a high quality enquiry service for customers. You will also support the wider team and other specialist services within LSSS by providing administrative support as needed. Supporting the development of projects such as shared knowledge bases, self-help resources and referral processes will also be a key aspect of the role, as well as carrying out a variety of daily duties such as data inputting, appointment bookings and arranging meetings.
You have experience of providing advice, guidance and support to stakeholders in a customer focused environment and identifying opportunities to improve processes and contributing to the implementation and improvements. The ability to take initiative within agreed parameters and solve problems is also essential.
