This year’s Blackboard upgrade will run between the end of the day on Friday 28 July and continue until the end of Sunday 30 July.
Staff and students will not be able to access SHUspace and Blackboard sites during the upgrade. We expect the service to be available again by the morning of Sunday but it should be considered at risk all that day. Please do not schedule teaching and learning activities in Blackboard during this time, including online submission of assessments.
We realise that there are some teaching programmes which will be affected by the downtime and we apologise for the inconvenience this will cause. As always, the upgrade team will do their best to reduce the impact of any disruption and keep downtime to a minimum.
