This year’s Blackboard upgrade is scheduled to take place over the weekend of 28-30 July.
The upgrade will start at the end of the day on Friday, 28 July and continue throughout the weekend. Staff and students will not be able to access shuspace and Blackboard sites during the upgrade. We expect the service to be available again by the morning of Sunday 30 July, but it should be considered at risk for that day. Please do not schedule teaching and learning activities in Blackboard during this time, including online submission of assessments.
We realise that there are some teaching programmes which will be affected by the downtime and we apologise for the inconvenience this will cause. As always, the upgrade team will do their best to reduce the impact of any disruption and keep downtime to a minimum.
