The Students’ Union’s Women’s Group are collecting unwanted bras to be donated to Women’s Aid South Yorkshire. They have already collected 58, which is amazing- but they want more! For many women, bras are an expensive luxury but in reality, they are an essential item of clothing for comfort and health.
If you have any spare, unwanted bras, please bring them to the Students’ Union by Friday 19 May.
These bras will be displayed in the Winter Gardens as part of the ‘Impressions – Community Impact Exhibition’ to represent the success of the project and to encourage the Sheffield public to add to the collection.
