HEaTED are the leading provider of professional development and networking opportunities for all disciplines of the technical workforce in HE, FE and related organisations across the UK.
Following a recent restructure of the HEaTED network, a vacancy has arisen for a coordinator within the northern region. This region brings together the North West, North East and Yorkshire.
Your role would be to help us continue provision of high-quality support for the professional development of this key workforce. The coordinator would be an advocate and champion for the HEaTED programme, committed to providing effective and productive professional networking opportunities for colleagues from organisations across the local area.
The post holder’s responsibilities would include: organising and facilitating a senior leader forum, which would bring together technical managers from surrounding member institutions to share best practice and discuss CPD needs for the coming year; delivery of a network event; supporting the provision of professional development opportunities in the northern region; and assisting with the recruitment of new member organisations. You would be part of a dynamic network coordinators team and full administrative support would be provided by the HEaTED central support team. The time commitment required is around 0.5 days per week and is flexible. The successful candidate will be paid £2,000 per annum (excluding VAT).
