The 2017 Plusnet Yorkshire Half Marathon- Sheffield, will take place on Sunday 9 April. This event attracts thousands of runners of all abilities and spectators to the city’s streets and raises many thousands of pounds for good causes. Road closures
The 2017 route will remain unchanged from the previous year’s, with the Event Village being held across the Peace Gardens and Tudor Square. The route will begin on Arundel Gate, head out towards the Peak District along Ecclesall Road and into Dore before returning to the City Centre and finishing on Pinstone Street outside the Town Hall.
Road closures will be in place on Sunday 9 April from 4am in the City Centre and from approximately 8.30am on the route. All roads will be opened on a rolling basis as soon as it is deemed safe to do so.
