  • Session 2: Wednesday 17 May – City Campus

This course comprises of 2 x 1 hour lunchtime sessions. The first session is designed to boost your knowledge around the physical activity guidelines and focuses on the importance of small steps. You will then have a number of weeks to take those small steps and begin to increase your activity. The second session will be facilitated 6 weeks later and you will be encouraged to reflect on your progress and identify strategies around relapse prevention and barrier management.

This workshop will help increase awareness of physical activity recommendations and the benefits of being active.  Explore the principals to physical activity and finding activities that are right for you so that you can create a personalised bespoke exercise goal and track your progress at week 6.  It will also help to identify barrier management and relapse prevention strategy.
