As part of its ongoing improvement of the Campus IT network, Digital Technology Services will be making a series of overnight maintenance upgrades which will result in 10 to 20 minutes scheduled outages of IT services in some buildings between 2am and 3am in the morning. These will take place between 20 March and 28 April 2017.
Because of the nature of this maintenance work and the workload of the team, specific dates cannot be scheduled very long in advance but will be limited to a particular day of the week for individual buildings. An overnight campus network scheduled maintenance timetable is now published so that staff and students can plan any important overnight activity around this work and avoid potential upgrade days. This will be updated regularly as work is completed and the programme is revised.
