Michele and Barbara France, Hallam staff from catering services, have organised the 17th annual charity fancy dress ball, taking place on Saturday 22 April. With all proceeds going to Sheffield Hallamshire Hospital’s breast cancer research unit. Michelle and Barbara have delivered this event for the past 16 years, raising in excess of £80,000 for this fantastic cause. In 2012. Michele received the British Empire Medal (BEM) for her services to higher education and charity.
