Wednesday 18 January 2017, 9.30am – 12.30pm, Sheffield Town Hall Council Chamber
This half day symposium is an opportunity for all university staff to learn about the most recent sector developments in inclusive practice policy and guidance. It is a chance to reflect on Sheffield Hallam University’s policies and practice and consider what we can do to enhance important aspects of our provision – transitions, attainment, engagement and employability – through extending our own individual inclusive approaches to teaching and assessment.
Guest speakers include:
- Geoff Layer (Chair of the DfE Sector Leadership Group on Inclusion)
- Chris Husbands (Vice-Chancellor, Sheffield Hallam University)
- James Elliot (NUS Disabled Students Officer)
- Dr Graham Holden (Director of Learning and Teaching, Sheffield Hallam University)
Staff interested in attending the event can view the draft programme and booking details or contact us at: shucpd@shu.ac.uk
Numbers for this event are limited, so book your place early to avoid disappointment!
Please note: The symposium presentations will be filmed and made available to all staff after the event.
