Do you enjoy singing and can you hold a tune?

Award-winning Dronfield area-based theatre group is looking for singers (particularly males) to supplement a company of around 30 performers as they present a musical revue tribute to those who fought in the Second World War and the families they left behind.

These Foolish Things features 23 much-loved songs from that era, but also a number of drama sketches, both emotional and humorous. This production is not a concert, but a full-length theatre production with many light and sound effects, under the direction of a very experienced production team.

There will be opportunities for solos, duos, trios and ensemble singing, as well as plenty of full company numbers. Experience of stage productions is not essential, as you will be directed every step of the way, but the ability to hold a tune is. The show goes on from May 17-20, with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.

We are a very friendly and inclusive group, who don’t bite, but do like to have good standards.

Auditions will be held on Wednesday, December 7, and Sunday, December 11.
