On 9 November from 5 – 9pm, the University of Sheffield is hosting an evening of presentations and discussions, looking at ways of reducing the energy demand and carbon emissions of Sheffield city centre’s outdated buildings.
The event explores the potential for Passivhaus architecture and how retrofitting our domestic and non-domestic buildings across Sheffield would reduce bills, provide employment and support the development of the local economy.
Expert presentations will be followed by discussion groups, networking sessions and a panel discussion. Food will also be provided.
This event is being organised under the Zero Carbon Yorkshire umbrella by the Carbon Neutral University Network at the University of Sheffield. This is in association with the School of Architecture at The University of Sheffield, Sheffield Hallam University, Sheffield City Council and Sheffield Climate Alliance.
If you would like to attend please book a space. For more information on the event and the attending speakers please visit the event website.
