What is Skills Bank? How does it work and what does it mean for Sheffield Hallam?
The Sheffield City Region Skills Bank is a fund which will be used to upskill employees across the Sheffield City Region.
The Directorate of Education and Employer Partnerships invites staff from all faculties and directorates to attend a breakfast briefing about the Skills Bank. The Briefing will cover:
- An overview of how Skills Bank works
- How SHU has responded
- The extent of our current fundable CPD offer
- How the funding deal will operate
- How to help employers access the funds to promote our CPD in the City Region
There will be two briefings at each Campus:
- Wednesday 14 September, 08:30 – 10:00, Hallam View, City Campus.
- Wednesday 21 September, 08:30 – 10.00, HC.0.29, Heart of the Campus, Collegiate Campus
- Wednesday 28 September, 08:30 – 10.00, Hallam View, City Campus
