Rotherham Investment Development Office (RiDO) will run a one-day mini-accelerator taster day, which is open to all staff who are interested in entrepreneurial activity setting up their own business as well as applying industry related tools within the class environment. The mini-accelerator taster day provides a great opportunity for staff to learn and use the core tools adopted by the Yorkshire Accelerator programme to model and analyse entrepreneurial ideas.
The day will follow the current Y-Accelerator framework of shaping, building and pitching a final business concept, introducing the practical tools and thinking used in the current programmes. The day will be fun and interactive, where you will work in a team to shape and build a business idea using Strategyzer’s Value Proposition and Business Model Canvas and learning the processes involved.
The event is aimed at members of staff working with new start businesses, along with teaching staff that look to provide insights for embedding contemporary industry perspectives on entrepreneurship within the academic curriculum.
