East Midlands Trains ticket collection machines will be installed at both City and Collegiate campus over the coming weeks and will be fully operational before the end of August. They will be installed in two locations, Owen Level 5 (opposite the Peak Lecture Theatre) and Heart of the Campus Building (opposite the Students’ Union space.)
The machines will use a 4G network and allow the collection of tickets on any route across the country just like the ticket machines that are located at the station. It should be convenient for both staff and students, especially those based at Collegiate. We hope that it will also save the University money on postage or time out of office collecting tickets among the other benefits.
