NCP are updating equipment at their Arundel Gate car park starting on 11 July in order to improve customer experience. All existing parking equipment will be removed in the early part of July, however any existing validations/discount will still apply and no alteration will be made to tariffs.
During the first 3 or 4 days of installation, customers will be asked to pay cash on exit and their validation will be applied. You will need to have your University ID with you during this time. Following the installation, the University will either be issued with a machine to validate your entrance ticket or a separate bar code ticket to use in conjunction with your entrance ticket to get the correct discount. NCP and SHU are in discussions regarding the number and locations of future validations.
NCP will also be launching a new product which is similar to a top up card and details of this will follow in due course.
