Sharon Burrows at Brush and Needle invites you to come along to one of her workshops to learn the basics of furniture painting and how to up-cycle and transform old, tired furniture into something on-trend and useful.
Sharon is a qualified painter/decorator and college lecturer with over 20 years experience. Workshops run regularly at weekends with a maximum of 5 students per class and last for approximately 4-5 hours. During this time, students will transform their own piece of small furniture using Frenchic chalk and mineral paint, a non-toxic paint that can be used safely even on children’s furniture and toys. The workshop costs £40 but SHU staff will receive a 10% discount. The workshop cost also includes the range of brushes, paint and wax on the day; tea, coffee and biscuits and 10% of all Frenchic products purchased or ordered on the day.
