The Professional Services Development Programme enables professional services staff to engage with a development programme tailored to their role and is intended to support the increased professionalism and career development of staff, delivering benefits for the individual participant, their team and the wider University.
The programme was initiated in October 2014 with a pilot cohort of 20 participants, all of which engaged with a bespoke programme of activities suited to their needs as a group. The first cohort completed in October 2015, the second cohort are due to complete in June 2016 and cohort 3 is well underway. As a successful participant, you will sign up to the programme for one year, receiving a minimum of six skills sessions, mentor meetings, buddy meetings and regularly completing a learning log to reflect on your continuous professional development.
Staff interested in participating in the Programme should discuss this with their line manager and then complete an application (available on the HR intranet). Applications for both participants and mentors close today – 11 May.
