Participants aged 60+, educated at least to A level standard or equivalent, are required for a research study investigating emotion perception in adults.
A number of tasks will be undertaken; some will be presented on a computer where the participant needs to use a response box to indicate their choice from the given options. Other tasks will include the participant selecting the meaning of a series of words, completing a pattern, a memory task and filling in questionnaires about social activities, demographic information and emotion.
Full information will be provided prior to consenting to participate. The study takes approximately 2 hours, including refreshment breaks and participants will receive a £10 high street voucher.
