Annual Learning and Teaching Conference

Educational Places, Disciplinary Spaces
23 – 24 June, City Campus

The conference theme is Educational Places, Disciplinary Spaces. Conversations will focus on how teaching and learning happens in physical and virtual spaces, both on and off campus. The first day (Thursday 23) takes the form of a Partnership Symposium, followed by the main conference on day two (Friday 24).

Topics will include student engagement in large group teaching, placement learning, distance learning, peer-assisted learning, learning communities and technology-enhanced learning. The programme includes more than 30 papers, 14 workshops and The Space Tour – an immersive experience of transformed teaching spaces.

So whether you are looking for practical ideas to develop your teaching, or interested in knowing more about the approaches to supporting learning used in other departments/disciplines, please come and join the activities!

Bookings can be made at https://blogs.shu.ac.uk/ltconference/bookings/. All staff are welcome and it is free to attend.
