The Change Management at SHU Community of Practice (CM@SHU) aims to provide support, guidance, tools and techniques to manage change and deliver continuous improvement. The group meets quarterly to share best practice, problem solve and learn from the expertise of members. It is an informal group that is open to all, regardless of level of knowledge and prior experience. Presentations and discussions cover a variety of topics on the theme of change management, ranging from understanding customer needs and identifying the root cause of problems, to learning from mistakes and applying Kotter’s 8 step model for managing transformational change.
CM@SHU provides staff with an opportunity to network and develop their understanding of change management and continuous improvement. The next session will be held Wednesday 20 April, 2 – 4pm, Owen, 1029.
