Here’s a great opportunity to take on a challenge that will help you get fitter and support the vital work of some wonderful charities.
Thousands of runners will head to Sheffield on Sunday 10 April for the second running of The Plusnet Yorkshire Half Marathon-Sheffield. Boasting a fantastic atmosphere, city centre start and finish and a picturesque route offering superb views of the Peak District, it’s no wonder last year’s inaugural run proved a great success, attracting over 7,000 entrants and raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for a host of good causes.
Why not get together with a group of colleagues and take on the challenge together? You’ll have the benefit of support while you train and may be able to take advantage of a team entry discount. Go to www.theyorkshiremarathon.com to find out more and to enter!
The Plusnet Yorkshire Half Marathon-Sheffield is organised by Run For All and is part of the legacy of the late Jane Tomlinson, who raised nearly £2m for charity by tackling a string of gruelling challenges despite being diagnosed with terminal cancer. The event forms part of the Plusnet Marathon Series that also features the Leeds Half Marathon and the Yorkshire Marathon.
