Staff are reminded that nominations to join the University’s Information and Consultation Committee are now open.
This is your chance to represent your staff group on all aspects of University business. You will have the opportunity to learn about various issues, meet colleagues from across the University and be able to comment on and influence University decisions.
The ICC provides an opportunity for managers, trade union representatives and elected staff representatives to discuss university-wide issues such as financial performance, the business strategy, employment matters and the working environment.
Each member will represent staff in one of four areas of the University – administrative; technical; support (manual); and teaching and research.
You have until 31 January to nominate yourself. To do this you will need to get the backing of five supporters and complete a nomination form. Elections are scheduled to take place in February. The term of office will start in Spring 2016 and is for two years.
For further information and nomination forms, contact Flora Jeferzade on extension 3862 or visit the Working Together intranet site.
