Represent your colleagues on the University’s consultation group

Could you represent your staff group on all aspects of University business? Can you bring their opinions to the table and share information?

If you think you could, nominations are now open for staff to put themselves forward to join the Information and Consultation Committee.

The ICC provides an opportunity for managers, trade union representatives and elected staff representatives to discuss University wide issues such as financial performance, the business strategy, employment matters and the working environment.  You will have the opportunity to learn about the various issues, meet colleagues from across the University and be able to comment on and influence University decisions.

The ICC needs members to represent staff in four areas of the University – administrative; technical; support (manual); and teaching and research.

The term of office for each member will start in the Spring of 2016 and last for two years.  Nominations for all four positions is open until 30 January 2016. Elections are scheduled to take place in February.
