Job Title: Student Support Officer
Salary: £25,769 to £31,656 per annum, dependent on experience (fixed term until 28/10/16)
We have a vacancy for a Student Support Officer to join our Student Services team in Sheffield Business School. This is a fixed-term vacancy to deliver additional support to students in the department of service sector management on different parts of the student lifecycle.
You should have experience of providing advice and guidance in a customer focused environment, be able to work collaboratively to find solutions to problems and have the ability to handle complex queries. You’ll need to be able to think proactively, whilst advising stakeholders appropriately in line with University policies and procedures. In addition, you will be responsible for co-ordinating our Student Services teams to ensure that our service provision is compliant with University policies and procedures, and Government Visas and Immigration policy in relation to overseas students with a tier 4 visa.
